For about a week now, my Cessna and I had been living the dream. There was a huge high-pressure system over the Carolinas which was going to deliver spectacular weather for weeks. Blue skies, gentle winds, fluffy clouds. My Cessna loves to fly through blue skies instead of dealing with soggy and bumpy low pressure systems. I had a plane, I had fuel, I had blue skies — all I needed was a destination. My sister called and said she was going to the airport in Williamsburg, VA (KJGG)to have lunch at Charley’s Airport Restaurant. Bingo! I had a destination. Which means that everything that happened next is all my sister’s fault.
